About Dr. Carol A. Goldman, DACM, L.Ac., MS
Carol’s path to becoming an acupuncturist started during a trip to Mexico. There in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains, she experienced her first acupuncture treatment and knew that she needed to learn everything about Chinese medicine to help her patients. Carol partners with her patients who are experiencing going through challenges due to chronic illness, stress and pain. Her passions include treating women’s health and fertility, orthopedic conditions and emotional stress, and providing cancer support.
Using an eclectic style of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Carol integrates herbal prescriptions, electro-stimulation, acupuncture, cupping, and Tui Na massage to treat an array of conditions where these methods are effective.
Carol is a graduate of The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), NY. At PCOM Carol completed her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) and Masters in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (MSTOM). Carol also holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Chestnut Hill college and brings over a decade of clinical practice to the treatment room.
