About Samantha Story L.Ac
Samantha Story is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York. She graduated from a three year Master's of Acupuncture Degree from the Swedish Institute School of Acupuncture, where she studied Classical Acupuncture with master acupuncturist and Taoist priest Jeffrey Yuen. She is honored to be a student of Jeffrey Yuen and continues post-graduate studies with him.
Samantha is committed to treatments that heal physically, emotionally and spiritually. She incorporates positive lifestyle suggestions based on Chinese Medical Theory to reinforce work done in the treatments. She believes that healing is not something done to you, but with you.
Other credentials include; certification in the NADA addiction protocol at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center (a protocol also used for PTSD at St. Vincent's Hospital after 9/11), two clinical internships at ACQC (an Aids/HIV clinic), studies in Zheng Gui Tui Na with Mr. Tom Bisio and Frank Butler, studies in Esoteric Acupuncture with Mikio Sankey and Chinese Dietary Therapy and Chinese Medical Essential Oils with Jeffrey Yuen.
Outside of furthering her knowledge in Chinese Medicine, her other interests and passions include old movies, taking pictures, vintage furniture, yoga and meditation.
